Did you know

Hydon's Ball, one of Surrey's highest peaks within the Surrey Hills AONB hosts a memorial to one of the National Trust co-founders, Octavia Hill. A little further down the hill you will find the Robertson memorial commemorating the lives of Second Lieutenant Laurance Robertson and his brother, Captain Norman Robertson.

Winkworth Arboretum, was founded by Dr Wilfrid Fox in 1938. He planted out his property with carefully chosen trees to maximise its appearance in Autumn. Once complete after WW2, he donated it to the National Trust 1952.
