Did you know

Lewis Carroll is laid to rest at the Mount Cemetery just down the round for the start on the Mount. His grave and the memorial cross can be found next to the chapel (see photo above)

The views either side of the North Downs are simply beautiful.


Although the route takes you along a national trail it is relatively quiet.


The path down from the Mount can become overgrown in the summer

Street parking is very limited on the Mount. Another option available is parking at the Watts Gallery (half way)
