Step by Step Guide

Step 1

Follow the path in front of the Swanbourne Lake Tea Room, up adnpast the lake. At the top of the lake, continue straight into Arundel Park

Step 2

COntinue on the Monarch's Way, at the junction continue straight up the short, very steep hill. Don't take either of the valley paths to left or right

Step 3

Continue on Monarch's Way along the top - head to the tree straight ahead of you, and then onwards towards the copse. Bear left until you meet a track. This is an ideal place to enjoy the views of the Arun Valley in front of you.

Step 4

Turn left on the track and follow it past another copse on your left and until a T-junction where you will turn left

Step 5

Head on to the tarmac track and continue on this downhill. after a short while you'll go past a folly on your left

Step 6

Continue along the tarmac and this will eventually bring you out on the road. Turn left and head down past the castle and towards the High Street

Step 7

There are plenty of cafes, pubs and restaurants along the High Street. Continue to the mini-roundabout at the bottom and turn left. This is Mill Road and it will take you back to the parking places by the Tea Room.
