Butser Hill and Queen Elizabeth Country Park

Hills galore along this route which taking you along three trails, The South Downs Way, Shipwrights Way cycle path and Staunton Way. Butser Hill offers spectacular views while the Country Park on the south side of the A3 takes you through a mix of Woodland. If 12km is too far then shrink it down to 6km venturing up the exposed and grassy Butser Hill or the Queen Elizabeth Forest.

Butser Hill (a chalk hill) is the second highest point in the South Downs National Park after Blackdown. There is an annual Fell Run called the "Butser Hill Challenge" which involves running up and down the hill three times.
